Complexity have defeated Dignitas 2-0 (19-16 on Dust2 and 16-1 on Mirage) in the Group B decider match to secure a spot at the Americas Minor playoffs.
It all started on Dust2, Dignitas' pick, where the black and yellow side got off to a flying 3-0 start claiming the T pistol and the following anti-ecos. Complexity tried to muscle their way back into the picture, but the rigorous offense from Dignitas continued to win with four more on the board (7-0).
In the 8th round, Complexity finally got on the board due to a huge quad-kill from Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan on the AWP, but Dignitas rallied right back to make it 8-1. The black and yellow jerseys looked to sail through the remainder of the half, but Complexity fired back with Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz leading the charge as CTs, winning five out of the next six rounds to settle the half down, 9-6.
The second half saw Mitch "mitch" Semago claim the second pistol over ShahZaM in a 1vs1, but Complexity promptly responded with six consecutive rounds on the T-side to take the lead (12-10). It wasn't until a flawless retake from Dignitas to earn their second of the half, but the two sides began trading rounds, which then saw Complexity reach map point. Down but not out, Dignitas fired back with two in a row to force overtime, but in the end, it was all Complexity to close it out in the extra rounds 19-16.
The series then saw Mirage. It was all Complexity right from the start as CTs, winning an impressive seven in a row, before Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki broke the streak with a triple-kill to earn Dignitas' first (1-7). Complexity didn't seem rattled and continued their defensive rein with seven straight to take the 14-1 lead at halftime. In the second half, Complexity didn't look back as they secured the remaining two rounds to claim the 16-1 map victory and series 2-0 sweep.
