fnatic and Astralis are the first invited teams for DreamHack Masters Malmö, taking place from April 12-16.

In less than three months from now we will see sixteen teams battling in a new series called DreamHack Masters, whose first edition will be played in Malmö, Sweden.

A total of eight teams will receive direct invites, with the other eight coming from open qualifiers. Two teams are already set in stone, as we see fnatic and Astralis, #1 and #4 in the world as per our ranking, receive invites for the $250,000 event.

According to the announcement, the remaining six invitees will be announced in the coming weeks.

At the same time, DreamHack announced the release of the second wave of tickets, as all Early Bird Premium tickets and Skyboxes were sold out in the first four days.
